Teenage producer Kai-A is currently breaking forward, taking inspiration from vaunted luminaries including Mura Masa, Flying Lotus and Atu from Soulection. The influence of the latter can certainly be heard here in Kai-A's new single, "Miss Me (Whilst Ur Gone)"; delicately textured, he layers soft keys and chords over an atmospheric and crisp R&B instrumental. Offset with added breathless, barely decipherable vocals, the young beatsmith adds a decidedly natured feel to the record and it's one you can get completely lost in.
