The past few years have seen some outstanding, game-changing R&B and soul singers emerge from our humble little shores. We're well acquainted with many of these singers—the Etta Bonds, NAOs and Raleigh Richies of the world—but there are still a few singers you might not be so familiar with. One such songstress is Basheba whose engaging vocals and knack for linking up with the perfect producer are putting her on the surefire path to success. Her latest single, "Where Are You?", features Luui (another artist we tipped) and is founded on sharp, D&B-leaning production over which Basheba's viscous tones glide with ease. The single comes from her impending EP Axiom Pt. 1 (due Apr. 22), the first in a four-part series that aims to highlight her myriad influences and progression as an artist.
