With the track out now and an EP of the same name on its way, Swedish singer-songwriter Ayelle today drops the visuals for lead single "Machine". Boasting a defiantly feminist message, "Machine" rejects the female's role upon the male gaze as sexual objects, challenging internalised behaviours cultivated by our patriarchal society. Heavy yet necessary content, it's fully conveyed within elements of electro-pop as Ayelle's smooth vocal distorts with emotion, adding texture and depth. The mesmerising, slow-mo visuals were shot out in Sintra Woods near Lisbon, a centre of cult worship, furthering the eerie mystique of the promo. Watch it exclusively above. The Machine EP drops on April 15.
