With recent news that TomorrowWorld 2016 has officially been cancelled could lead some to further speculate that the "EDM bubble" has burst. Truth be told, there are always more turn ups to be had. All you need is the proper sound system, some capable DJs, and bangers like "Pop It Off," the new single from Ookay and YDG that Dim Mak is releasing on Friday, March 4.

Ookay has been on that trap sound for a minute now, and linked up with the duo known as YDG–who recently dropped a massive rework of BASECAMP's "Mara" and whose recent single "Hold Up" for Dim Mak/New Noise was Pete Tong's Essential New Tune of the Week–and for this massive, melodic number. For what might be a first, we actually get vocals from Ookay before the rowdy, hysteria-inducing drop. "I sing on it, so I'm kinda like the EDM Josh Groban now," says Ookay, who also let us know that the song "goes off," which isn't hard to figure once you hit play.

While Ookay also let us know that he sent the tune to Tiesto, he "hasn't said anything yet, but I'm gonna go ahead and say he loves it." We'll have to agree with Ookay. Stream "Pop It Off" in full down below.
