Back in November, Lil B sent shots at the Weeknd on his song, "4 the Record," though nobody really knew what triggered it. After the song came out, a 2014 tweet from Lil B surfaced where he said "Fuck the Weeknd," though it was still unclear why he was upset in the first place.

The entire thing remained a mystery, until now, as Lil B has opened up about the issue with ILY. "I want to give a shout out to The Weeknd. I want to apologize and take back saying, ‘Fuck The Weeknd.' I said it for no reason and thought about why back when I said it," Lil B said. "It’s because he un-followed me on Twitter and I felt weird about that, and I thought back to that moment and said, ‘Why’d I do that?’ That’s not right. The Weeknd is a good guy—I talked to him before everything really blew up, and he told me how he felt. I definitely want to apologize about what I said about The Weeknd, and I want him to know that."

So there you have it, the entire thing was over Twitter, which is actually pretty common in 2016. If nothing else, at least Lil B apologized and decided to put this entire thing behind them. You can read Lil B's full interview with ILYhere
