Montreal bass lord Kaytranada is set to release his long-awaited debut album, 99.9%, later this year, and we’re finally getting some info about the impending drop. Last night, the producer chatted with BBC’s Benji B, revealing some of the features that will be on the record, including two songs with Toronto jazz outfit BADBADNOTGOOD, one with the Internet’s Syd tha Kid, and a track called “Bus Ride” featuring jazz drummer/producer Karriem Riggins and Toronto’s River Tiber. He also mentioned that 99.9% will come out on May 5th, via XL Recordings, but later took to Twitter to clarify that it would be out May 6th.

99.9%, out in May 6.

During the brief interview, Kaytranada broke us off a preview of 99.9% via “Bus Ride,” an ambient banger with a frenetic drum groove and a slinky bassline. We’re 99.9% sure this is a mega jam. Listen to the interview, and a full version of “Bus Ride” below.
