Justin Bieber is Cancelling All Future Meet and Greets on His Purpose Tour, Citing "Emotional Exhaustion"

The Biebs is sad.

Justin Bieber's Purpose tour might be selling out arenas across the country, but it's looking like the experience has been a little bit draining on the Biebs. Tonight, he revealed on Instagram that he would be cancelling the remainder of his fan meet and greets. "I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people's spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy," he wrote. "Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression."

Apparently the pressure of living up to his fans lofty expectations of him night after night is taking its toll on his mental health. "The pressure of meeting people's expectations of what I'm supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulders. Never want to disappoint but I feel I would rather give you guys the show and my albums as promised," he said. "Can't tell you how sorry I am, and wish it wasn't so hard on me."

With a gigantic tour riding on his shoulders at only 22 years old, taking some more time for his mental health is certainly understandable. You can still buy tickets for the remainder of the dates on the Purpose tour here, just make sure not to pick out a meet and greet package. There's no word yet on how purchasers will be refunded.
