In the spirit of surprise releases this year, Big Sean and Jhené Aiko have announced a collaborative project called TWENTY88. While there’s not much information about it, TWENTY88 will drop April 1 and will include production from Detail, Key Wane, and Tommy Brown. According to a press release, Tidal will be streaming the project exclusively for four days starting April 1. Sean and Jhene have collaborated on previous songs such as “Beware” and “I Know.” In an interview with Complex last February, Jhene spoke about why he’s such a good friend.
He just has a very good spirit, and he has great energy. Especially now that I’m meeting more and more people, you meet the people that just give you the wrong vibes, or you can just tell they’re so into themselves and it’s annoying. But from the moment I met Sean—he was already famous—and he just had a great spirit, and he continues to be genuine.
Sean celebrated his 28th birthday over the weekend with a new song for his fans called “Get My Shit Together.” We’ll be treated with more music from Sean Don very soon.
