When HBO announced that its new animated series, Animals, would feature the voices of A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, many fans wondered how they would sound and fit into the show. Well, we now have our first taste of their appearance, and it's even better than expected. Not only do Rocky and Ferg lend their voices for some cartoon cats strolling around a bodega in New York City, but they also are rapping, and very well at that. The raps are equal parts funny and sick, as they literally rap as if they were cats, with Rocky spitting, "Good riddance, it's the bodega kittens, I'm the youngest of my siblings, beat my dick with my mittens."
It's unclear if Rocky and Ferg will be recurring characters on the show, but this proves that each of them clearly have way more to offer than just rapping to the world. The show also features vocal work from Marc Maron, Jessica Chastain, Nick Kroll, and more. If you want catch up on Animals, you can watch it on Fridays at 11:30 p.m. (EST) on HBO.
