ZAYN revealed the album cover for his upcoming album Mind of Mine, depicting a photograph of the pop star as a child, but with added tattoos to match his present look. Some onlookers have noted similarities in the concept behind ZAYN's new cover and the artwork for several rap albums of the past, like Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III and Tha Carter IV, Drake's Nothing was the Same, and the Notorious B.I.G.'s Ready to Die.

The art was shown on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon just before ZAYN's stunning performance of his newest track "It's You." The former One Direction member became aware of the comparisons between his and other artists' cover concepts, and made a statement on Twitter about the matter. "I'm not tryna be no rapper, my album is me a child.. My ideas have been with me a long time." He goes on to say, "Use your brain, appreciate art don't discriminate what you don't understand."

"It's You" is the second song that's been revealed off of Mind of Mine, following "Pillowtalk" and its sexy video component. In addition to voicing his stance about his album art controversy, he also teased us on Twitter with more content to look forward to. Captioning a photo of a video monitor featuring his profile on screen, he tweeted, "Fallon was sick, but wait for this." Could the video for "It's You" be coming soon?!
