Taylor Swift has always been big on giving back and continued that generosity this weekend when she donated $1,989 to Igor Lekontsev's donation page, a fourth-semester accounting major at UConn. Of course, Swift's donation is made out in the amount of her Grammy-winning album, 1989. The singer's donation will benefit the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center as a part of the university's annual HuskyTHON fundraiser. Swift also surprised Lekonstev with a Facetime on Saturday, Feb. 20. where the two talked about her music. During the conversation, she told him she was going to donate to his fundraiser. “I literally had no idea about her contacting me until she did it. I couldn’t have prepared for this two months ago," Lekontsev told The Daily Campus

Taylor also made another donation over the weekend to Kesha. Kesha's Mom, Phebe Sebert, confirmed on Twitter that Swift donated $250,000 to Kesha as a "show of support during this difficult time." Clearly, Taylor is trying to share her success with those around her. Lekonstev shared a picture of his Facetime with his favorite singer on Twitter.

Thank you for protecting me all these years with your words Taylor. I love you forever ❤️ pic.twitter.com/uA0q8YMhr9
