Many fans were shocked when Kanye West claimed on Twitter Saturday that he is $53 million in debt. While this turned out to not quite be true, one fan still decided to go the extra mile to help Yeezy get back on his feet. A Minnesota man named Jeremy Piatt set up a GoFundMe page for West, seeking to raise the full $53 million Kanye needs to get himself out of his financial hole. "Kanye West, prolific entertainer/fashion icon/celebrity/member of the Kardashian family needs our help!" Piatt begins, imploring fans to donate anything they can to help the struggling rapper.

"We must open our hearts and wallets for Kanye today," he continues. "Sure he is personally rich and can buy furs and houses for his family, but without our help, the true genius of Kanye West can't be realized." So far, contributions are pouring in; he's received money from 12 individual donors so far, most of whom added funny messages to their donations. One, even claims to be from Taylor Swift. "Thanks for all your help Kanye!" they wrote. Together, these Koch Brothers-rivaling megadonors have amassed a whopping total of $66, or .000003% of the goal.

It's amazing how generous the hip-hop community can be when it comes together for a good cause. If you want to help contribute to Kanye's bailout, head over to the GoFundMe page and open your wallets. Otherwise, keep your fingers crossed that Mark Zuckerberg gets Kanye's voicemails.
