Moon Boots has returned to Anjunadeep for the release of the Medlar and Kahwe remixes of his recent single "Red Sky" this Friday. There were a lot of classic house sounds in the original (a spacious melody, techy arpeggios and a sturdy rhythm section all held their own in the mix) and it was those that really make you love the track without it drifting into nostalgia. For his version, Medlar's pushed the track firmly into the now, whilst adding his own huge stamp on the track. Chopping up the various sounds, he creates an almost choral melody, ramping up the organic elements of the original. The original was solid gold house music but this remix more than matches up.
