In January, the producer Mndsgn—say it with me, now, "mind design"—took up an interesting challenge: remixing the producer Kirkis' fresh remix of Mndsgn's very own "kikhabits," which Mndsgn first released three years ago. What we have here now, in this third degree of separation, is a dark, dreamy, distant reconfiguration of a previously uptempo groove. Today we're premiering the music video for the "Cold Crush" remix, shot and edited on VHS by the director Alima Jennings, and starring the silent Sisterseed.
