Update 10:03AM: From the looks of Chance the Rapper and Kanye West's Twitter feeds, it appears that the song "Waves" is finally complete. Chance has posted a picture of The Life of Pablo tracklist with some lyrics to the new song scrawled in at the bottom, while Kanye has said that he's actively in the lab finishing the whole project up while also taking a minute to poke fun at his fellow Chicagoan. Hopefully, we should expect to receive this soon.

See below for the original story.

Kanye West told fans The Life of Pablo would be released Friday after he shared his new song, "30 Hours," along with an updated tracklist for the album. Obviously, Friday has come and gone, and though fans will be disappointed they didn't get the album the day he promised it, they should know it was pushed back for a good reason.

Early Saturday morning, Kanye tweeted Chance the Rapper was behind the delay because they were working to get "Waves" on the album. "It’s Chance's fault the album not out yet… he really wanted 'Waves' on that Bitch… we in the lab now," he wrote. For his part, Chance assured fans it was the right move. "I fought everyone to keep 'Waves' on the album. I spent all night finishing it. The world is better because of it." If you remember, "Waves" was on the first tracklist Kanye shared back in January, when the album was still called SWISH. That title seems so long ago.

This addition would now extend The Life of Pablo from 14 to 15 tracks, and while the delay will slightly hurt fan moral, it will be great to get another Kanye and Chance collaboration since "Ultra Light Beams" is one of the standout records on the album. Check out their tweets below.
