T_A_M's 'Music To... Make You Realise You'd Rather Be At Home' Mix For i-D

With his debut release for Coyote Records, "Watty", about to drop (Mar. 3), T_A_M will be hitting London's The Alibi alongside Grandmixxer, Tarquin, Jurango and Last Japan on March 5. And if that weren't enough, he's also put together this escapist mix of new tracks from Inkke, Sean Armstrong, Rezzett and Samoyed and "old music from err....Donkey Kong Country 2." That may seem weird, but it's actually the perfect accompaniment to his vibrant, playful take on club music that frequently draws on cartoons, video games and whatever else makes the Aberdeen-based producer beam with glee.

Sirr Tmo's 'Random Mix Just Because 2016 Part 1' Mix

Teklife's Sirr Tmo usually drops a few editions of the Random Mix Just Because series each year. Last year, we were treated to three mixes in the series. Sadly, only part 3 of the 2015 mixes has weathered the wrath of the SoundCloud gods, so make sure you check this hard-as-hell blend of footwork and jungle while you still can.

Daniel Haaksman's Mix For Clash

As the boss of Man Recordings, Daniel Haaksman has made a career out of digging deep into sounds and cultures from all over the world. Don't get it twisted though: Haaksman is as far from a cultural magpie as it's possible to get; his selections and the movements he champions come from a place of love and respect. Most of the tracks inside this one come from the myriad sounds in Africa; from Angola to Cameroon, and a multitude of places in between, all infused with heavy bass and dancefloor-ready electronica. Sit back and let the selector take you on a journey.

Not Waving's Mix For FACT

Just like the Krankbrother mix that follows, this one from Alessio "Not Waving" Natalizia brings in a range of sounds and styles and pieces them together with the dancefloor in mind. Though Natalizia has worked under a number of different guises (Banjo Or Freakout, Perla, and WALLS with Sam Willis), Not Waving is one of his most prolific, using the moniker for post-punk and EBM-influenced creations. Even if you're not too familiar with EBM or even post-punk, this mix is the perfect starting point and even includes some more recent productions from the likes of Mumdance to draw you in.

Krankbrother's Mix For Solid Steel Radio

A firm favourite here at Complex HQ, we greedily hoover up anything and everything the house and techno twosome put out so we had to leap on this one. It's quite a relaxed tempo for the most part, mixing a heavy dose of luxe funk and experimental moments into their trademark sound. According to Krankbrother, the preparation behind this mix involved a lengthy listening party at their east London flat, fueled by a hearty diet of whiskey and vinyl, before the two settled on a mix that takes in Brian Eno, Mark E, Nitzer Ebb, and even more leftfield choices that span a good portion of electronic music's history. Dig in and take notes.

Hudson Mohawke's 'Valentine's Slow Jams Chapter 9' Mix

Did you forget Valentine's Day? Only cobbled together something at the last minute and you're still trying to make up for it? Not a problem—HudMo's got your back. Returning for the ninth annual installment of his Valentine's Day mixes, the Glaswegian button-pusher has put together a slow and sensual 45 minutes of UK-only slow jams to get you back in bae's good books. Make sure you keep your ears peeled for "something brand new in there too."

Lil Tantrum's Mix For Body Promise

Another Valentine's Day heart-melter for you, this time from mischievous producer Lil Tantrum. Anyone who can kick a mix off with Whitney Houston, follow it up with Vybz Kartel and then throw in some MM along the way is alright by us. Not exactly built for the club, this one's better suited to seduction and snuggles, so thank us later. Unless you forgot about Valentine's Day—in which case this is only the beginning of your bid for forgiveness. Good luck with that.

Brood Ma's Mix For The FADER

We've given you a few Valentine's Day mixes this week, and that's probably quite enough—especially if you're not the day's biggest fan. If that is the case, tuck into this rolling techno mix from Hemlock Recordings affiliate Brood Ma, and revel in the punishing darkness.
