Adele made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today and it was quite a revealing moment for the normally reclusive singer as she talked about her Grammy Awards performance, took part in a hilarious prank, and also performed "All I Ask."

Grammy night didn't go as planned for Adele when a technical issue marred what we can only assume would have been an incredible performance of "All I Ask" from the singer. Here, she reiterated what she shared on Twitter, that a piano microphone fell onto the piano strings. She told host Ellen DeGeneres she wanted to lift it back up, but she didn't, and her post-performance reaction was certainly warranted. "I cried pretty much all day," she said. "In fairness I would have cried if it went really well as well. If it was a standout performance, I would have cried as well. I always cry."

The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. Shit happens. X
Because of it though... I'm treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it.

Interestingly enough, Adele revealed she gets stage fright these days more than before, and that's what may have stopped her from picking up the microphone. "If it wasn't live TV I would have busted a joke, but because it's TV that's why I couldn't make the disaster my own," she said. "Next time I have any sound issues, I am going to start over. Like, 'Sorry, that's not working for me. If we have time to do again, let's do it. Otherwise, bye.'" Straight power move.

Adele also teamed up with Ellen for a hilarious hidden camera prank where she visited a Jamba Juice and messed with the employees. Check that out as well as Adele's performance of "All I Ask" and a funny voicemail skit below.
