Last night, Zac Zeta ran up on the People's Choice Awards stage and shouted out Kanye West and Kevin Gates. It turns out Zeta is an up-and-coming rapper himself who has been close with Gates for awhile. With all the buzz surrounding Zeta right now, he decides to debut his new "Zeta Gang Castle Remix" track featuring Gates today on Complex. While using heavy auto-tune, Zeta flows about his life on the streets and how his only hope is to chase his dreams in the rap game. "That ni**a just trying to make it, but y'all making it hella hard, hol up they be hating, but I am not tripping I pray to God," Zeta raps before the infectious hook from Gates.
In an interview with Pigeons and Planes,Zeta says that Gates is a huge inspiration on his musical career and "like a guardian angel" to him. Who knows if this will be a jumping off point for Zeta's career going forward, but as he says in theP&P interview, "Dream hard man, dream big. You never know what could happen."
