Justin Bieber was "asked to leave" a Mayan archaeological site while visiting Tulum, Mexico, according to the Associated Press. Bieber ran into trouble after he tried to climb onto the historic ruins. An official for the National Institute of Anthropology and History said the perpetrator was not authorized to be quoted by name, but Bieber was visiting the seaside ruins on Thursday when the incident occurred. The also report notes that visitors can climb some pre-Hispanic pyramids in Mexico, but ruins that are considered vulnerable or unstable are roped off to prevent entry.
