All the way back in March, the Game was arrested for punching an off-duty cop during a basketball game. He was later charged with a felony count of making criminal threats after allegedly telling the cop, "I'm going to kill you." No trial date has been set for the case yet, but Game was in court today to officially put in his plea of not guilty.
The cop, Onyebuchi Awaji, testified in front of a judge last month that Game assaulted and threatened to kill him during the incident at the basketball game. Awaji also filed a lawsuit against Game back in April, and claimed that the punch he took caused brain damage. A judge recently ruled that there was enough evidence for Game to stand trial. Back in August, Game told Sway during an interview that he will probably have to serve jail time for the case. We'll continue to update this story as more details emerge.
