UK dance music's favourite vocalist, Katy B is embarking on a brand new project that will see her collaborate with a range of different producers, and the first of those collaborations has just emerged. The project is called Honey and the first single, "Calm Down", was the result of a meeting between the chanteuse and abstract beatsmiths Four Tet and Floating Points. Both producers are seasoned veterans, each with eclectic back catalogues, and between them they've put down a squelchy bassline over which Katy's vocals swoop and soar, culminating in a sort of tumble-down refrain. As ever, Katy B reinforces her reputation for putting engaging twists on the pop format with some savvy producers and an off-kilter, club-friendly beat.

In support of 'Honey', Katy B will be playing her biggest London show to date at the O2 Academy Brixton on May 14, 2016. Tickets go on sale on Monday 14th December.
