Deadmau5 has a well-documented dislike for Justin Bieber and Skrillex. Earlier this year, the producer took to Twitter to voice his opinion on Bieber's collaboration with Jack Ü and again after reading the trio's New York Times article about "Where Are Ü Now." Deadmau5 and Skrillex also traded shots on Twitter back on Halloween.

Deadmau5 clarified his stance on the beef in a livestream that recently surfaced online. In the confessional, Deadmau5' explained that his beef with Skrillex is really directed at Bieber. “I can accept that [Justin Bieber's] album is probably good, I have no qualms with that, I know decent production when I hear it,” he said. “That’s not what I’m mad about. What I’m mad about is that none of it is this little fucking dickhead’s. You get what I’m saying? ‘This is my album’. No it’s not your fucking album, its Skrillex’s fucking album, its fucking god knows who's album.” He elaborated by calling Bieber a "meat puppet" who jumped into this “shit hot fucking scene.”

Mostly, Deadmau5 felt Skrillex got used in the process. “It’s not that I hate Skrillex, and I hate the shit he does…I hate that he allowed himself to be a goddamn tool for someone else. But I can’t be too much of an ass about it…he likes to do it, he’s a fucking little hippy and loves working with people, and that’s his thing. I can respect that.” Watch the full video above.
