Today, Chicago grieves the miscarriage of justice in the Chicago Police Department's protracted investigation of Officer Jason Van Dyke, who shot and killed 17-year-old Laquan McDonald in October 2014. Local prosecutors charged Van Dyke with first-degree murder just a couple days ago.

As news media and city officials stoke fear of riots in the days following the indictment of Van Dyke and the CPD's release of dash cam footage of McDonald's death, local rapper Ty Money has partnered with creative agency The Dsgnrz to produce a music video for Ty's newest song, "United Center." "I just saw a body outside the United Center, and they left him in his Jordans," Ty Money raps in protest of the CPD and Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel.

Ty Money's music video for "United Center" is, simply, the squad car footage of Laquan McDonald's death.
