Taylor Swift is known for going above and beyond for her fans. Last night, the singer reached out to 12 year-old Australian fan Jorja Hope while in Sydney for her 1989 World Tour. Hope was recently diagnosed with a condition that causes progressive, inner ear hearing loss. According to the Maitland Mercury, the first thing Jorja said after her diagnosis was, "I won't be able to hear Taylor Swift sing."
Following her diagnosis, her twin sister Chloe launched an online campaign #HelpJorjaMeetTaylorSwiftSydney so that Jorja could meet and hear her idol before she lost her hearing. With a little help from the internet and Sydney radio station Nova 96.9, the hashtag went viral and finally crossed Taylor's path. The singer met Jorja last night at her concert before the show for a very special moment that was captured in the photo above. Well done, Taylor.
