Nicki Minaj seems very happy in her current relationship with Meek Mill, but no matter how much time goes by, there always seems to be a petty issue with her exSafaree Samuels, popping up. Today, TMZ is reporting that Safaree is planning to sue Nicki for money he believes he's owed for work on her albums, which he claims he had a major influence on.

The report indicates that Safaree hasn't sued Nicki yet, but that he reportedly has been building up proof of his involvement in her albums, The Pinkprint, Pink Friday, and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The evidence is apparently footage of Safaree working in the studio with Nicki, voice memos from sessions, and witness accounts of his involvement.

Along with the albums, Safaree is also reportedly seeking a cut of Nicki's recent singles, "Only" and the "Flawless" remix with Beyoncé. Safaree was listed as an executive producer on Nicki's first two albums, though it's unclear what sort of payment structure they had set up for the work he did. We'll continue to update this story as it develops.
