UK rapper Origin is back with the latest edition in the #NoSleepTilSunday series. The latest track is called "Fire" and, on it, we hear from Origin's socially conscious side as he speaks directly and eloquently about times in his life when he's been subjected to some frankly shocking racist attacks. Were you to ignore the lyrics and simply pay attention to the chilled-out guitars, you'd think this was a relaxed hip-hop tune but, lyrically, it's a difficult (though rewarding) listen. Origin handles the complicated subject with honesty and nuance, making for a thought-provoking listen throughout. In the end, he preaches a message of love and forgiveness which, given what you've just heard, is downright admirable. As always, keep it locked to Complex UK for the next piece in the #NoSleepTilSunday puzzle.
