We get sent quite a lot of mixes here at Complex. Some of them great, some not so much. It's pretty rare, however, that someone emails us and says: "Yo! We just snuck into this store and recorded a mix for you using their gear without them noticing." But that's basically what R&B DJ duo Jarami just did. There's classics from J Dilla and Aaliyah, but for the most part, these cuts are all pretty new. There's a definite club-tinge to the mix with the boys, and some of their pals, flipping tracks from Vic Mensa, Mark Ronson and Rihanna to give them some extra funk. It's not often that straight-up R&B bangs this hard, but it really, really does.
