Well then! J. Cole delivers a gift for fans on Black Friday by putting his own spin on Kendrick Lamar's standout To Pimp a Butterfly cut, "Alright." The Dreamville rapper sounds as focused as ever over Sounwave and Pharrell's funky production, flipping clever metaphors and working in a boastful angle fans should be used to by now. "Cole World you should stay off his dick/I sold out the Garden I should play for the Knicks/Took a couple minutes and I sold out Staples/A nigga gettin' cream like an old ass Laker."

Before the track ends, Cole also spits, "'When you and K.Dot's shit drop?' Bitch never/They can't handle two black niggas this clever," before hinting at something special dropping in February. Already circled on the calendar. For now, check out Cole's latest release below, and Kendrick's remix of "A Tale of 2 Citiez" here.
