Erykah Badu stopped by The Breakfast Club for her first time ever this morning as she readies for the release of her forthcoming mixtape, You Caint Use My Phone, due for release on Thanksgiving. In the interview, Badu touched on her use of social media and her Twitter beef with Azealia Banks. "Social media is kind of like social evolution. You know, we can spiral out of control but with some kind of style."
Self-described "recluse" Badu also opened up about co-signing Dej Loaf, Jay Electronica, who was also in the building, and working with Drake. "We love Drake. Absolutely. And Drake adores Jay Electronica." She goes on to discuss whether or not Jay should make another album. "He can make one if he wants to but he don't need to do that," she replied to Charlamagne. "His Eternal Sunshine can last us until 2029. I mean, I still haven't heard anything as good as that...It's just so amazing. I still can't match that." Watch the full interview above.
