She did it. After much anticipation and climbing projections, Adele's25 just broke the U.S. record for most albums sold in a single week as reported by Billboard. Nielsen Music confirms Adele's new album sold 2,433,000 copies and has officially beat out the previous record held by *NSYNC when they sold 2,416,000 units of No Strings Attached back in 2000. 25 has been kept off streaming services and has three full days left of its first week, which means sales can only climb higher.
