Lenkemz has been on our radar for a minute now. Ever since he collaborated with Slick Don on "Can't See U", our interest in the Midlands producer was piqued. There's no one really quite like him, and that's precisely what we look for in an artist: originality. His productions range from rugged grime riddims, right through to the more experimental numbers like this new cut, "Play". A noisy, distortion-led piece of slowed-down hip-hop, "Play" is the b-side to his new single "Skeletonz" featuring Detroit rapper xDeathx (out today on Bad Taste Records) and it shows an artist pushing himself to his creative limits and having vast amounts of fun doing it.
Premiere: Lenkemz Comes Out To "Play" On New Single
Haunting melodies and doom-laden rap beats.
