Adele has finally broken her silence regarding the long awaited follow-up to the ridiculously successful 21, an album reportedly stacked with collaborations from Pharrell, Max Martin, and Danger Mouse. The elusive megastar teased less than a minute of new music in the middle of a commercial break during a recent episode of The X Factor, immediately prompting Twitter to flex its speculation muscles:

Shortly after shattering the internet, One Republic's Ryan Tedder (a collaborator on the forthcoming album) confirmed that the frustratingly brief clip is in fact Adele:
