A few weeks ago, Southampton High School assistant principal Esther Adler-O'Keefe was under fire after news broke that she appeared in a J.R. and Trey Songz video—though she only had a small cameo. In the video for the song, "Best Friend," O'Keefe starred as an unassuming wife who let Trey and J.R. housesit while she went on vacation with her husband. Of course, J.R. and Trey hosted a huge party with plenty of drinks and girls hanging around at their house.

Coincidentally, O'Keefe actually looks like a principal during her short scene, and she doesn't actually do anything crazy in the video at all. However, that she was in the video at all is what's put her under fire. "The video in question showcases behaviors and language use that is not promoted by the Southampton School District," Superintendent Scott Farina said back when the video came out.  O'Keefe has now been reassigned by the Long Island school district after they were reportedly upset with her behavior in the video. She will now oversee different academic support systems throughout the district, according to the report from ABC. O'Keefe has yet to comment about the situation, but we'll continue to update when more details are available.
