Pushing things forward while paying homage to the past can be a difficult undertaking. Fortunately, with Wiley andZomby on deck, you can be sure something interesting is going to come out of it. "Step 2001" is what came out of them meeting. Wiley is in top lyrical form. Zomby equally dips back into his grimy roots to draw together the icy eskimo sounds of old with the more futuristic, progressive sounds of 2015. We're told the single will see an official release, both digitally and pressed on single-sided 12" vinyl, on Sept. 24 via Big Dada.
