While the summertime sadness of the season ending is starting to kick in, there is a gleam of hope on the horizon: Fall TV. As we all ready for the return of pumpkin spice, NBC has announced their return date for SNL along with the first three musical guests.

First up is recent VMA host Miley Cyrus who will double as the host and musical guest for the show's season premiere October 3rd. While we didn't think Miley did a great job hosting at the VMAs with flat jokes and an exchange with Nicki Minaj, we're hopeful that the seasoned pros at SNL can boost her jokes as they have before.

In the greatest and most obvious of choices, the October 10th show that has slated comedy wondergirl and trainwreck Amy Schumer to take the stage with The Weeknd as the musical guest who will undoubtedly play his song of the summer "Can't Feel My Face" along with another cut from his album Beauty Behind The Madness as he heads out to tour the album this fall.

In the final announcement so far, SNL alum Tracy Morgan will make a valiant return over a year after his fatal car accident to host the show with Demi Lovato set as the musical guest.
