VÉRITÉ began a strong-suited musical affair when she unleashed her debut single "Strange Enough" in summer of 2014, earning her praise by our friends over at Pigeons & Planes. A meteor of internet buzz followed, culminating with the release of her Sentiment EP before she shattered the concert circuit performing at Firefly and Lollapalooza.

Today, the Brooklyn-based singer returns to share a magnetic rework of Childish Gambino's "Sober." Where the original soared on it's up-tempo euphoria, VÉRITÉ's take simmers on inebriated synths and inky vocals, coaxing you gently into the bar as the clock strikes happy hour. "I really loved the original, and wanted to be able to reimagine it and make it feel like my own” VÉRITÉ told us over email. “From inception, the process of building out this track was similar to how I build my own."

Listen to the premiere of VÉRITÉ's cover of "Sober" below and don't miss her on tour in the UK and Iceland this November (dates and tickets here).
