A Japanese girl band called Yomeiriland have uploaded what might be the greatest cover version of 2015. That's right, they've taken on the 2014 grime banger "Take Time" by Mumdance and Novelist. The beat is pretty much untouched but the new vocal version is really quite something. Nov's percussive bars have been replaced by the group's sugary vocals, in Japanese of course, and the effect is a little bit unsettling, albeit absolutely brilliant. There's not much info about them beyond a few other surreal covers on their Bandcamp and a Vine account. But in this case, the mystery just adds to it.
