Originally hailing from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Miles From Kinshasa now resides in South London and, as the video for his new single "IVRY" suggests, he's wasted no time in drawing on his new home for influence. The video sees a balaclava-clad Miles stalking menacingly through the urban sprawl, never once breaking eye contact with the viewer. According to Miles, the faceless character is intended to be a combination of the three main characters of La Haine (Hubert, Vinz and Sayid) who is "seeking a higher power who urges him to wait and that everything will be fine, but the sociopath, wide-eyed naivety in him and his self-awareness won't allow him to, so he's coming to take what he feels he deserves—with no remorse (balaclava), but he's coming to do it in style (dancing)."

It's a perfect, albeit sinister, juxtaposition against the softly-sung R&B elegance of the track and an intriguing opening gambit from the young singer/producer, who also directed the video. Our protagonist may be remorseless, but boy has he got moves.
