Backed by the likes of Bilal​, Thundercat, and Anna Wise​, Kendrick Lamar became the first featured musical guest on the just-launched Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Lamar, whose appearance followed interviews with Scarlett Johansson and Elon Musk, ran through a medley of To Pimp A Butterfly tracks from "Wesley's Theory" into "Momma," and then from "King Kunta" into "u."
