Today, Dazed magazine published an extensive profile of Young Thug that also features Thugger's productive, ambitious entourage of 10 older siblings plus countless cousins and, of course, his fiancée. Young Thug's mother also talked to the magazine, revealing that her home is filled with framed, charcoal drawings of her son and his earliest mentor, Gucci Mane. The profile underscores Thugger's childhood, come-up, and love for Atlanta; his odd conversational style; and his unconventional approach to songwriting.

“I did a song in eight minutes," Young Thug tells Dazed. "I thought everybody could write songs that fast. But working with a lot of them, they don’t. Wayne and Drake, it takes them so long to do a song. I understand why, because they want it to be perfect. But I think I can do a perfect song in ten minutes."

"I did ‘Danny Glover’ in eight minutes," Thugger explains. "‘Stoner’ took me almost an hour.”
