The Weeknd Scores His First Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 Song With "Can't Feel My Face"

His album arrives later this month.

If you had any remaining doubts about The Weeknd's star power, you shouldn't anymore, as his song, "Can't Feel My Face," has officially reached the top of the charts. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week after sitting in the No. 2 spot for three consecutive weeks, and is the first No. 1 song of his career. Previously, The Weeknd had three top-10 entries on the Hot 100 chart, with all of them coming earlier this year. Both "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills," which peaked at No. 10, will be featured on The Weeknd's upcoming album, Beauty Behind the Madness, that will be released on August 28.

In other chart news, fellow Canadian, Drake, who just yesterday secured the first platinum album of 2015, debuted high on the charts, with his Meek Mill diss song, "Back To Back," coming in at No. 21. If you were wondering, that is higher than any Meek entry on the chart, with his current highest song, "All Eyes On You," coming in at No. 43.
