As the streaming game continues to get more and more competitive, Spotify is reportedly trying to add some incentives to their paying subscribers. According to a report from Digital Music News, Spotify will soon implement premium-only content, which means that certain releases via the streaming service will only be available for those who are paid users.

While the details have not been laid out as of yet, one scenario indicates that the free users of Spotify would only be able to listen to one or two songs from an album, while the premium users would have access to the entire project. The report states that this new format could be rolled out in early 2016, and it's worth noting that Spotify has to renew their licensing deals with major labels on October 1.
