Father and Awful Records have been carving a lane for their hypnotizing trap music and consistently standing out in the process. Now that Father is becoming  the most recognizable face of the crew, others have branched out to start their own solo careers. Behind rising stars Rich Po Slim and Archibald Slim, Slug Christ is about to be the rapper/producer everyone will talk about soon.

Earlier today, Slug Christ released a new joint project with producer Purpdogg titled God Is Under The Porch Where The Dog Died. Purpdogg, who is famously behind Drake and Soulja Boy’s “We Made It,” handles the production where he takes the innovative cues of New Atlanta while mixing in a dark and hazy vibe. God Is Under The Porch Where The Dog Died has no features except for Keith Ape, who delivers a tough verse in English and Korean that only further proves he’s the torchbearer for Asian hip-hop’s resurgence.
