A few weeks after news broke last month that the duo was already recording their sophomore album, Mike WiLL Made-It announced on Twitter today that a sequel to Rae Sremmurd's debut is "in the works." In July brothers Swae Lee andSlim Jimmy let it be know that their next album was due out in December. Whether or not SremmLife 2 is that next album is unclear, but Mike Will's Tweet seems to suggest as much.
The rest of Mike WiLL's Tweet is factually accurate—"Every song on SremmLife is a HIT" and its "still sounding fresh af" he wrote—so we can probably count on the sequel announcement being on point too. Fingers crossed that the guys deliver on their December release date promise.
