Nipsey Hussle, who has loyal fans that pay upwards to $1,000 for his projects is, seeing his stock plummet today. The L.A. rapper let off a series of tweets today in response to the backlash he is receiving after replying to a tweet that read: "Blacc females r a disgrace to blacc culture" (sic). Nipsey's response said: "I can't retweet that I'm LMAO TRU shit."(sic)

Well, retweeting it didn't matter because people are currently passing the screenshot around and adding their own two cents.

When user 1FLYMEXICAN quoted Nipsey's reply with "Bro I'm bout to start dating out my race lmao," the rapper responded with:

@1FLYMEXICAN S/O Tha real black queens out here tho we SEE yall

Naturally, plenty of people are up in arms. Nispey is now attempting to put out the fire with some responses, err back-peddaling, below:

the comment that I responded to was a JOKE made in bad taste by someone in my area known as a lighthearted comedian that loves to laugh.

Wrong is wrong and I'll take responsibility and apologize to all my black women that were offended by it

The comment I responded to was in pour taste PEROID but especially with the most recent issues happening to our women.

— THA GREAT (@NipseyHussle) August 3, 2015

Never want to portray someone who thinks its cool to disrespect our mothers, sisters and more importantly our bacc bone As acceptable...

in all honesty I thought the people reading it would know by the outrageous nature of the comment & the laughing emojis..that he was joking

— THA GREAT (@NipseyHussle) August 3, 2015

I don't care about PR or any social media backlash so Ima say how I feel. What I do care about my peoples understanding of me....

— THA GREAT (@NipseyHussle) August 3, 2015

If any black woman was ever mistreated or disrespected in my presence I stood up for her. Because I'm a man and that's our job.

There are several more tweets in which the rappers brings up Dave Chappelle's "Clayton Bigsby" sketch and Dick Gregory's autobiography, Nigger in attempts to drive home the, "It was just a joke" narrative. He also brings up police brutality, Willie Lynch, and other forms of American oppression. His tweets and apology are all pretty messy and confusing, especially seeing as how Nipsey is dating Lauren London who just so happens to be a "blacc female."
