At the top of this year we learned the title of Lana Del Rey's upcoming album, a follow-up to 2014's Ultraviolence. At the time she told Billboard of the record, called Honeymoon, "It's growing into something I really like. I'm kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one. It's been good." Since then we've gotten a couple of songs, a new video earlier this week, and random news that James Franco was authoring a book about the New York singer. Now there's a light at the end of the Honeymoon title as Rey has announced that the album will be released on September 18th. Rey made a vague announcement on Instagram earlier today via the image above and Pitchfork confirmed the date shortly after.
