Last week, Dr. Dre released Compton, which was his first album in over 15 years, and even though the excitement from fans was crazy, some still wondered what ever happened to Detox. Previously, Dre said that the long-rumored project never came out because he simply didn't like it and it just wasn't very good. Still, fans of the Good Doctor, or any real hip-hop supporters in general, would probably love to hear the sessions that he compiled over the years that he was working on the album.

With plenty of rumors going around over the years as to who contributed to Detox, Dre recently told Rolling Stone that he made between 20 and 40 songs for the project. "Usually I can hear the sequence of an album as I'm going, but I wasn't able to do that. I wasn't feeling it in my gut," Dre said. Maybe someday he'll dig into the vaults and bless the fans, but it doesn't seem like that will be anytime soon. Check out Dre and Ice Cube's full Rolling Stone interview here
