The other day Miley Cyrus was seen making out with a dime who turned out to be Victoria' Secret angel Stella Maxwell. Recently in her Paper magazine cover story, Miley spoke candidly about her feelings for women. "Yo, I'm down with any adult—anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me," she says. "I don't relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl." She recounted admitting these feelings to her mother as early as 14: "I remember telling her I admire women in a different way. And she asked me what that meant. And I said, I love them. I love them like I love boys."
Meanwhile, Stella Maxwell's Instagram reveals the two hang out often, with Miley appearing in posts as far back as 15 weeks ago. (Was it on and poppin after she put. heart. eyes. under her pic?!) The 24 year-old model is part of the Victoria's Secret's new class, and their only British model. Since she "found her wings" at the latest VS Fashion Show, she's done campaigns for ASOS, H&M, Alexander McQueen, River Island, and Urban Outfitters.
In a recent interview with V Magazine, Stella disclosed how she and Miley first met:
We met through Grindr... Nah, joking. We met through mutual friends via Instagram, which is where Cheyne contacted me about taking some photos. It's been a trip to hang out and see a little of their world. Felt very organic and right.
Was it friendship at first sight?
Obvs.
Not long after their first meeting they took a group trip, including Stella's fellow angel and BFF Barbara Palvin, to Vegas, which she documented on the Gram. So is it a full-blown relationship or just a fun fling? You can never tell with Miley, although she confessed to Paper that she's had romantic entanglements with women to stack up with the likes of Liam Hemsworth, Patrick Schwarzenegger, etc. "But people never really looked at it, and I never brought it into the spotlight." Well, after that interview, it seems to be in the spotlight now.
