Miguel just released his new album, WildHeart, last month, and during the ongoing press tour for the project, he took some shots in the direction of Frank Ocean. "I wouldn’t say we were friends. To be completely honest — and no disrespect to anyone — I genuinely believe that I make better music, all the way around," Miguel said in the interview with The Sunday Times.

Miguel also talked about longevity in the R&B game, and said that it's a marathon and that the music community will see who is in it for the long haul. Though they were at one time close, as pointed out in this past profile of Miguel, his issues with Ocean date back to 2013 when Frank beat him out at the Grammys, and with rumors swirling that Ocean is gearing up to drop new music this month, fans might actually get a heavyweight R&B showdown for the ages.
