Kendrick Lamar phoned into Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show today to talk about his numerous MTV VMA nominations for "Alright" and "Bad Blood" with Taylor Swift, which were announced this morning. While he was excited about the nominations, Kendrick also shared that he's not all that used to being nominated for awards and receiving all of this acclaim from the outside world.

Aside from the VMAs, Kendrick talked about how he plans to tour a lot for his To Pimp a Butterfly album, and that while he doesn't plan to drop any new solo music for a long time, he's very excited about what Jay Rock is currently cooking up. Over the weekend, a video surfaced of Jay playing Kendrick new music in the studio, which Kendrick confirmed with Zane Lowe that it is indeed a new single that is coming sooner than later. You can check out all of Kendrick's VMA nominations here, and stay tuned for the full audio of Kendrick's interview with Zane.
